Our Adult Community Mental Health Service provides comprehensive mental health assessment, treatment and support to adult clients aged 25-64 years living in the Inner South of Melbourne.
Clinical service overview
We operate from two clinics:
- St Kilda Road Clinic
- Waiora Clinic
Our team can provide assessment, case management, family support and specialist allied health and medical intervention. We work in partnership with our clients, their families and the community to reduce the impact of mental illness, improve the quality of life for our clients and to promote recovery. We aim to deliver care that is excellent quality, accessible to all in need and sensitive to the diversity of our community.
The Mobile Support and Treatment Service (MSTS) provide a range of specialist psychiatric treatment, assertive outreach and intensive rehabilitation and support to adult clients who are experiencing mental illness.
The Homeless Outreach Psychiatric Service (HOPS) team provide a range of specialist psychiatric treatment, interventions, assertive outreach and intensive support for adult clients who are experiencing mentall illness and homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.
We have a multi-disciplinary team that includes:
- psychiatrist and psychiatry registrar
- mental health nurses
- social workers
- occupational therapists
- carer consultant to provide support for family and carers
- consumer consultant
We can offer help to persons with many mental health problems including (but not exclusively):
- Mood disorders
- Schizophrenia and psychosis
- Anxiety disorders
- Borderline personality disorder

Special referral instructions
Patients must be aged between 25-64 years and reside in the inner south east of Melbourne
