Our services & clinics
Trauma specialists are urging Victorians to take care cleaning gutters and preparing the home for Christmas as the number of patients arriving at The Alfred with life-threatening injuries caused by ladder falls continues to rise.
More critically ill and injured patients are being cared for in The Alfred’s 45-bed intensive care unit than ever before as the hospital marks 10 years since the modern facility opened its doors.
A radiation therapy treatment that provides prostate cancer patients with an alternative to surgery is being acknowledged for 20 years of helping men at The Alfred.
The Life Support Committee and their network of friends and associates invite you to join them in support of The Alfred at the must attend event on the summer social calendar, the 2019 Alfa Romeo Portsea Polo. The annual event on the Mornington Peninsula is the setting for the committee’s most fabulous fundraising initiative of the year.
Our Research Course is a semester-long program run conjointly by Monash University and The Alfred Emergency & Trauma Centre. It is relevant to emergency, trauma and critical care physicians and is equivalent to two post graduate units (12 credit points) for a Master of Clinical Medicine or Master of Public Health (TBC) at Monash University.
