A clinical trial assessing the impact of tenofovir alafenamide, spironolactone and placebo on fatigue in people with MS over a period of 16 weeks. Aiming to reduce the frequency of the Epstein Barr Virus DNA in saliva and improve participant reported outcome measures of disease compared to placebo.

Fludrocortisone administration in aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage (NCT06409364)

A multi-centre, prospective, blinded, randomised clinical trial of fludrocortisone compared with placebo in patients presenting with aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage.

The study aim is to determine if early administration of enteral fludrocortisone in aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage reduce death and dependency at six months.

An interventional Phase 3, open-label, two-cohort study to investigate the efficacy and safety of fosmanogepix in adult patients with invasive mold infections caused by Aspergillus spp., Fusarium spp., Lomentospora prolificans, (NCT06925321)

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of fosmanogepix (administered IV or oral) for the treatment of adult patients with invasive mold infections. The study is looking for patients who have been diagnosed with invasive mold infections. The maximum study duration will be approximately 8 months, including a target study treatment duration of 84 days which can be extended up to 180 days and follow-up period. The patient will be assigned to one of two treatment cohorts: Cohort A (primary therapy): Patients will receive either the study drug or institutional standard of care antifungal treatment. Cohort B (salvage treatment; i.e. treatment given after patients did not respond to previous treatments or did not tolerate them): Patients will receive the study drug The primary aim is to compare the all cause mortality with a fixed threshold at Day 42.

Concussion Incidence with Gamegear Nodal Impact Attenuation Headgear: A Multistate Randomised Crossover Clinical Trial in Australian Collision Sports (Trial Not Registered)

This study is investigating whether a soft protective headgear may reduce concussion rates or severity in Australian amateur football and rugby players. Participants will play matches with and without the headgear following an alternating schedule, and some players will also wear a mouthguard that measures head impacts. The study will compare concussion outcomes and head impact data across the season.
