Registration number Trial Not Registered

This study is investigating whether a soft protective headgear may reduce concussion rates or severity in Australian amateur football and rugby players. Participants will play matches with and without the headgear following an alternating schedule, and some players will also wear a mouthguard that measures head impacts. The study will compare concussion outcomes and head impact data across the season.
