Carolyn is the Clinical Services Director for the Heart and Lung Program at Alfred Health.

Professor Kaye is the Director of Cardiology and a senior cardiologist in the Heart Failure & Transplant Service at The Alfred.

Associate Professor Hitesh Patel is a Deputy Director of Cardiology and Head (since 2024) of the statewide Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant unit at The Alfred in Melbourne.

Associate Professor James Hare is Deputy Director and Head of Non-invasive Cardiology.

Associate Professor James Shaw is one of the Deputy Directors of Cardiology and the Head of Cardiology General (CAGE).

Professor Tony Walton is Deputy Director and Head of Catheter Laboratory in the Department of Cardiology.

Associate Professor Justin Mariani is a consultant Cardiologist and interventional Heart Failure Specialist, and is Head of Pacing at The Alfred.

Professor Peter Kistler is a clinician cardiologist and electrophysiologist and an international leader in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders.

Prof Silvana Marasco is the Director, Cardiothoracic Surgery at The Alfred and Professor, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Monash University.

Associate Professor Chris Merry completed his undergraduate degree at Melbourne University and underwent postgraduate training at St Vincent’s Hospital, The Alfred and Austin Hospital. He undertook an aortic surgery fellowship at the Austin Hospital and has worked as a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon since 2008.

Georgia is the Nurse Manager of Specialty Services within the Heart and Lung Program.

James is the Administration Manager for the Heart & Lung Program’s Specialist Clinics.
