Course overview
This course is appropriate for clinicians who work in emergency and acute medicine, neurosciences, or trauma. New graduates and grade 1 staff welcome.
At the end of this course you will be able to:
- Identify and treat the person with uncomplicated BPPV of the posterior and horizontal canals
- Identify those with likely Vestibular Neuritis, providing initial Physiotherapy management
- Screen for red flags that would suggest a central disorder
- Demonstrate knowledge to advocate for your patient’s ongoing management
Note: this is NOT a Vestibular Rehabilitation Course. The focus of this course is the decision making and management in the acute presentation.
