By going Dry this July, you’ll help support cancer patients at The Alfred. Every dollar will contribute to resources that enhance patient care and recovery.

By going alcohol-free for July, you’ll not only help fund vital services to deliver meaningful impacts for cancer patients and their families, but also enjoy some personal wins - better sleep, more energy and no hangovers.
Funds raised for The Alfred this Dry July, will go towards installing a Metronaps® EnergyPod® in the Integrative Oncology and Wellness Centre at the Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre.
Why does it matter?
Cancer-related fatigue is one of the most common and overwhelming symptoms experienced by patients. The EnergyPod® is a specially designed recliner that encourages restorative naps and provides a calming sensory break - complementing our mindfulness, movement and psychosocial support programs. It’s a small retreat that offers powerful healing benefits for patients and carers alike.
