2026 Perioperative Medicine Cardiovascular Short Course (August)
Underlying cardiac disease is common in surgical patients and significantly increases the risk of perioperative complications.
This online course provides clinicians with comprehensive training in assessing, optimising, and managing cardiac patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery, following international guidelines and evidence-based best practice.

Mode: 12-week online course
Time commitment: 6-8 hours per week (on average). Participants are required to review 12 topics (one released each week) which includes self assessment questions within the topics, designed as education materials. There are no assessment tasks.
Registration fee: AUD $1,500 (incl GST)
Eligibility: This course is aimed at Clinicians involved in the perioperative care of cardiac patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Anaesthesiologists
