Unique opportunities available to our Orthoptic team include:

  • Advanced Scope of Practice streams in Diabetic Retinopathy Screening, Drug Toxicity Screening, Glaucoma Monitoring, and Post-Operative Cataract Management
  • The opportunity to work in both doctor-led and Orthoptist-led specialised Neuro- Ophthalmology outpatient clinics, using state-of-the-art equipment and technology
  • Alfred Health is a major provider of trauma services in Victoria and handles a significant volume of trauma cases, including complex and life-threatening injuries. Offering specialised care for burns, neurosurgery and critical care
  • Career and Leadership development through portfolio roles within the broader Allied Health directorate, in areas such as People, Wellbeing & Leadership Development, Quality Improvement & Safety, Research, Digital Health, Advancing Allied Health Practice and Education & Training
