We have a team of highly experienced staff who specialise in radiation therapies.
Our team
Our specialist radiation therapy team consist of:
- Radiation oncologists - doctors who specialise in the treatment of cancer and other conditions using radiation therapy.
- Radiation oncology registrar - a doctor who is training to be a Radiation Oncologist.
- Radiation therapists - health professionals who plan and deliver radiation therapy according to the doctor's prescription.
- Nurses - who assess and care for patients during their radiation therapy treatment. Nurses also help with the management of side effects and referrals to other support services.
- Medical physicists - who run routine quality assurance procedures on the equipment and machines to ensure safe and accurate treatment.
- Administration staff - who perform a variety of tasks including assisting patients with medical appointments and managing patient records.
- Students - we are a teaching organisation, so students may be involved in patient care while under the supervision of qualified staff.
Radiation Oncologists

A/Prof Hany Elsaleh is Director, Radiation Oncology at Alfred Health and an Associate Professor at Monash and the Australian National University.

A/Prof Sidney Davis is the Deputy Director of Alfred Health Radiation Oncology and the Clinical Lead Radiation Oncologist at the radiotherapy centre at the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre at LaTrobe Regional Hospital.

A/Prof Jeremy Millar is the Director of Research at Alfred Health Radiation Oncology.

Head of the Stereotactic Radiosurgery service and lead clinician in Radiation Oncology for Lung and CNS tumours.

A/Prof Sasha Senthi is a Radiation Oncologist at Alfred Health Radiation Oncology.



Dr Chia May Wong is a Radiation Oncologist at Gippsland Radiation Oncology.

Dr Rajendra Hegde is a Radiation Oncologist at Alfred Health Radiation Oncology.
Dr Kendrick Koo completed his medical education at the University of Melbourne, including a PhD in the genomics of Head and Neck Cancer at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. He completed Radiation Oncology training in Victoria, predominantly at the Alfred and PMCC.
