Meet the Health Promotion Team

Barb Ryan - Health Promotion Coordinator

Barb is responsible for leading and coordinating the Health Promotion Team across the Caulfield Community Health to undertake strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion and prevention programs.

Barb possesses a Post Graduate Diploma of Health Promotion and a Master of Public Health in Management and Health Economics.

Barb has previously worked in various strategic public health and health promotion prevention roles in hospital, local government, community health services, academic and women's health settings.

Charli - Health Promotion Officer

Charli works with schools and OSHC services in Stonnington and Glen Eira local government areas to support whole-organisation approaches to health and wellbeing. Charli has a degree in Public Health and previous experience in supporting Early Learning Centres to promote positive oral health and healthy eating outcomes through the Victorian Government Smiles4Miles program.

Christine Farnan

Christine recently commenced working with the Health Promotion Team at Caulfield Community Health. 

As part of her role she is responsible for building local engagement in Glen Eira with Early Learning Centres to provide assistance they might request through such areas as healthy eating and active living to promote happy, healthy and resilient children, families and staff.

Johanna Forsman

Johanna works with Early Learning Centres in the Stonnington local government areas to improve the health and wellbeing of children, families and educators using tailored approaches.

Equipped with a qualification in Health Promotion and a background in Allied Health, Johanna is dedicated to support the local community to adopt healthy lifestyles.

Johanna has previous experience in supporting settings to implement Healthy Eating Guidelines and supporting Mental Health & Wellbeing of staff through the Healthy Workplaces Achievement program.
