Many people with epilepsy still have seizures despite medication, and current treatments like surgery or deep brain stimulation don't work for everyone. This study will use temporary electrodes placed in deeper parts of the brain during routine epilepsy evaluations to test different stimulation approaches, helping doctors find the best personalised treatment for each person.

Key inclusion data

People aged 18 years and above with a diagnosis of drug-resistant epilepsy (ILAE criteria). Group A: Be under consideration for, have been recommended to have, or are planned to undergo DBS or VNS for epilepsy. Group B: Be under consideration for, have been recommended to have, or are planned to undergo intracranial EEG using either; stereo-EEG or Subdural grids/strips and depth electrodes
