Dr Sun Loo

Dr Sun Loo is a Consultant Haematologist at The Alfred with subspecialty expertise in acute leukaemia and myeloid malignancies, with comprehensive patient care being her utmost priority.
She completed a two-year leukaemia fellowship at Alfred Hospital, which was instrumental in fostering her interest in AML research and clinical trials. Her PhD research focuses on measurable residual disease (MRD) and MRD-directed therapies in acute myeloid leukaemia, with publications in high-impact journals. She is actively involved in clinical trials and currently serves as a Chief Investigator for a national AML trial and Principal Investigator for several AML/MDS trials.
