Dr Sueh-Li Lim
Sueh-li Lim is a clinical haematologist and clinician-researcher with a special interest in multiple myeloma. She serves as the Myeloma Clinical Trials Lead and Myeloma Lead, CAR-T cell therapies service at The Alfred. In addition, she is the Myeloma Lead at Latrobe Regional Hospital and consults at Haematology Victoria in Footscray with strong ties with Western Health. Sueh-li is also the Medical Lead for the Australasian Myeloma Research Consortium (AMaRC) and is Co-primary investigator for numerous investigator-initiated myeloma studies and Principle Investigator for several industry sponsored clinical trials at The Alfred and Latrobe Regional Hospital.
Sueh-li obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Monash University in 2004. She completed her joint specialist advanced training in clinical and laboratory haematology at The Alfred, Western Health and Melbourne Pathology, obtaining fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Royal College of Pathology of Australia, in 2015. She completed a 3-year Clinical and Translational Myeloma Fellowship, sponsored by the Merrin Foundation, at The Alfred in 2024. She completed a PhD evaluating the optimal use of CD38 monoclonal antibodies in Myeloma, with a focus on optimising outcomes for patients with high risk myeloma at the Australian Centre for Blood Diseases, Monash University, in 2025.
Sueh-li take a holistic approach to patient care, aiming to improve both patient outcomes and quality of life for those with blood cancer.
