Dr Misha Dagan
Dr Misha Dagan is a general cardiologist at The Alfred.
Dr Misha Dagan provides care across the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease. In addition to her general cardiology expertise, she has a particular clinical and research interest in heart failure and pulmonary hypertension.
She completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne, graduating with First Class Honours, and went on to complete general physician training and advanced cardiology training at Alfred Health.
Dr Dagan is currently undertaking a PhD focused on the pulmonary circulation and right heart dysfunction in HFpEF and pulmonary hypertension, through Monash University, the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, and The Alfred. Her research is supported by a prestigious National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) scholarship.
She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in heart failure, coronary artery disease, and structural interventions, and serves as a peer reviewer for several leading cardiology journals. Dr Dagan is also actively involved in clinical education through Monash University.
