Dr Abbey Willcox
MBBS BmedSci FRACP FRCPA PhD — Clinical Haematologist
Dr Willcox is a clinical haematologist at Alfred Health with a strong interest in both thrombosis and bleeding disorders.
She has a breadth of experience in both venous thrombosis as well as bleeding disorders such as haemophilia, von Willebrand disease and other rare bleeding disorders as well as acquired bleeding problems. She is also passionate about ensuring equality of public health across our community and so she travels to both Warragul and Bass Coast weekly to provide outpatient clinics. In 2024 she completed a PhD in vascular biology looking at the role of the endothelium in thrombosis and will continue this research in the hope of improving patient outcomes in this area.
