Course overview
You'll get hands on experience with wet dissection, with a live demonstration going through cardiac anatomy by the head of cardiothoracic surgery at The Alfred, Professor David McGiffin.
Simultaneously, two of our leading experts in heart failure and imaging, Dr Peter Bergin and Dr James Hare, will run through cardiac CT, transthoracic echocardiography, and transoesophageal echocardiography, so you can understand how it all comes together.
Finally, we'll have an echo simulator to provide you with the views you see while you dissect to help put it all together.
