Bill’s walk for brain cancer
Bill Tingate is remembered for his courageous battle with brain cancer. He loved walking and Bill’s Walk is a special fundraising event which invites you to walk Melbourne's iconic Tan Track along the Yarra's edge and around the city's picturesque Royal Melbourne Botanical to help fund vital research into finding a cure for brain cancer.

Bill loved walking, taking on some epic challenges including Everest Base Camp and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Like so many city workers, The Tan was a favourite of his and so each year we honour and celebrate Bill and help create a lasting legacy he would be proud of. By participating in Bill's Walk, you will help raise funds for the Alfred Hospital's Neurosurgery Department.
At the conclusion of the 3.8 km walk, a BBQ lunch will be provided. Invite the whole family and come along to support a great cause.
Dress code is comfortable casual, with a touch of grey - the official colour for brain cancer.
