Our service provides comprehensive care for people affected cancers of the brain and nervous system from diagnosis and treatment, through to follow-up care. Our expert team provide coordinated care in a supportive environment for patients, their carers and families.
Cancers of the brain and nervous system include a wide range of diseases, from low-grade tumours patients may live with for many years after treatment, to aggressive high-grade cancers requiring urgent treatment and intensive monitoring.
These may include primary cancers originating in the brain; secondary cancers which have spread to the brain or central nervous system after beginning on other organs; and tumours affecting the spinal cord and nerves.
