The Clinical Leadership and Management course is a semester-long program run conjointly by Alfred Emergency & Trauma Centre and Monash University.

This course will prepare you for the transition from emergency clinician to emergency leader. You will learn how to guide and support your service and your colleagues, and to lead or develop a department which enables exemplary patient care. The program is led by an experienced faculty holding national and international leadership positions in emergency medicine and healthcare over the last 20 years.
The Clinical Leadership and Management is a 12-week course run by Alfred Health and Monash University. The course has been developed by Emergency Physicians, for clinicians responsible for the delivery of an emergency clinical service and for Emergency Fellows and advanced trainees eager to develop their leadership skills and expand their career opportunities.
Clinical Leadership and Management course provides a solid foundation of theory and evidence, along with a high-level analytical and leadership skills in relation to the implementation of a range of health care projects of relevance to the emergency and trauma context
It can be completed as a stand-alone certificate course or as a six credit unit towards a Master of Clinical Emergency Medicine or Master of Public Health with Monash University.
