Our team of health and support professionals work together to provide timely, quality care. Based on this ethos, we have an active program of research, education and knowledge exchange activities open to all health professionals.
Effective care for patients who present with agitation and aggression is a critical component of emergency practice. In providing this care, the safety of patients and carers is paramount. This Symposium will bring together all types of health professionals (nurses, doctors, allied health providers, administrators etc.) involved in Emergency Department care to explore opportunities for improving care and safety.
Our Research Course is a semester-long program run conjointly by Monash University and The Alfred Emergency & Trauma Centre. It is relevant to emergency, trauma and critical care physicians and is equivalent to two post graduate units (12 credit points) for a Master of Clinical Medicine or Master of Public Health (TBC) at Monash University.
