Dr Farzana Zaman

Dr Farzana Zaman is a medical oncologist at The Alfred.
Farzana completed internship and basic physician training at The Alfred and advanced training in Medical Oncology at Alfred Health, Monash Health and Austin Health. She returned to The Alfred in 2024 as a fellow in phase 2/3 and melanoma clinical trials, followed by a year of fellowship in phase 1 clinical trials and precision oncology as one of the MPCCC Molecular Oncology Fellows. She has a strong interest in clinical trials and research. She is currently pursuing a PhD in laboratory-based melanoma and immuno-oncology research in the Department of Cancer Medicine, supported by a National Health and Medical Research Council Postgraduate Scholarship.
