Ms Gabrielle Bartlett
Gabrielle Bartlett is a Clinical Nurse Consultant and Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) Coordinator at The Alfred in Melbourne.
She holds a Bachelor of Nursing and a Graduate Diploma in Intensive Care Nursing, which underpin her strong clinical and academic expertise. Gabrielle has extensive experience in heart and lung transplantation and has worked across both New South Wales and Victoria in this highly specialised field.
Her MCS expertise includes managing a range of durable devices, with direct experience in both Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) and Biventricular Assist Device (BiVAD) therapies. Gabrielle plays an active role in MCS education, with a focus on promoting patient autonomy and preparing caregivers to confidently support individuals living with an LVAD. She also contributes to education and training for specialist teams at The Alfred and across wider healthcare networks.
Her research interests include wearable technology for LVAD patients, fostering patient independence, and enhancing quality-of-life outcomes for patients and their families.
