What happens to information about you?
Health information privacy
We collect information about you to treat you effectively and safely. Our staff may access and use information about you to the extent it is necessary to do their job. We store patient information securely, both paper-based and electronically. We support, promote, and are required to comply with, various Victorian and Commonwealth privacy laws.
We automatically upload relevant information to My Health Record, if you have consented. We provide information about you to the Victorian Government digital sharing system (CareSync) as required by legislation, to enable the Department of Health to provide the information to other points of care across the Victorian public health system. We may also disclose information about you externally if required or permitted by law, such as to your GP when necessary for your further treatment.
My Health Record Notice

However, due to certain limitations, we are not able to upload all reports at this time. Your results will continue to be sent to your requesting healthcare provider.
