Father’s Day Appeal - get involved
On Friday 30th August, The Alfred will hold an exciting quadrupled matched giving day – all thanks to some of our closest and most generous supporters.
Get Involved
- Support ‘G1VE 4 LIFE’ by making a donation during our special fundraising event on Friday 30th August. For this one day only, every $1 donated will be multiplied by 4 by the pledged donations of our community leaders - meaning your gift will have four times the impact. For more, go to fathersdayappeal.org.au
- Take the time to assess your health to get an idea about your chronic disease risk.
- Take responsibility for your own physical and mental health. In doing so, become a role model to your friends and family.
- For those with men in their lives, consider how you can support and encourage them to make a positive change. Think about how you too can get involved to improve your own wellbeing.
- Tune in, or come down to The Alfred, to listen to 3AW’s traditional live broadcast from the hospital over the Father’s Day weekend. Kicking off with a special launch on Friday 30th August, the broadcast will feature all your favourite 3AW personalities as well as interviews with Alfred ambassadors and world-leading clinicians.
- Volunteer on the day. The operations room will be a vibrant hub of activity as teams of passionate volunteers share in the success of the campaign. If you can commit to volunteering for a two hour shift anytime between 8.30am and 5.30pm on Friday 30th August, we would love to hear from you.
