Access for people with disabilities at Sandringham Hospital
Our patient and clinical areas at Sandringham Hospital are accessible for people with disabilities.
Access for people with disabilities includes:
• Car parking for disabled permit holders
• Wheelchairs for those who need them
• Accessible toilets throughout our hospital buildings
• Facilities for patients and visitors who have trouble hearing or seeing
There are lifts to the first floor. We also have a range of specialist beds and hoists that adapt to the needs of most hospital patients. Tell staff if you have a physical need so that they can make your hospital stay or visit easier.
Wheelchairs
If you require wheelchair access, the main entrance to Sandringham Hospital, the Emergency Department and Outpatients are all accessible. Wheelchairs are available at main entrances and each ward and department has wheelchairs, ask staff for help.
