You will be offered the support you need for career growth, whilst accommodating your flexible working requirements.
You will also receive ongoing individual care for everything from organising your roster requirements and educational needs, to your car park and salary packaging.
How we orientate you
Our comprehensive orientation program includes a full day hospital and nursing orientation and your first shift is a supernumerary shift to facilitate your induction to The Alfred.
You will have access to clinical updates conducted in your clinical area and short courses offered centrally through Nursing Education. We will assist you in planning these activities.
How we fit in with you
We pre-allocate shifts where possible up to two weeks in advance. We also manage staffing needs on a shift by shift basis.
About you
To join Nurse Bank, you will be a Division 1 Registered Nurse who is a high performer, customer focused, a team player, motivated & enthusiastic.
Post graduate year and recent experience in acute nursing as well as enjoying the challenge of working in a self directed environment is essential.
