Who are we?

The department also has professional links with both the Port Phillip and Caulfield Community Rehabilitation, and the Caulfield Community Health Service.

As such, continuum of care between acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and community services is maximized.

What do we do?

Speech pathologists are experts in the assessment, diagnosis and management of disorders of communication, swallowing and voice.

The Alfred Speech Pathology Department provides a service to all units within the hospital.
