Results
Studies are usually reviewed and reported within 1-2 hours of study completion and are then immediately available on The Alfred's Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Powerchart system.
External results are faxed or electronically transmitted to the referring doctor once reported. Images are also available to view remotely if required by referrers.
Reports requiring urgent attention will be communicated by telephone with the ordering doctor (please provide mobile phone number if available).
