The Alfred Anaesthesia Symposium is an annual meeting held by the department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine.

The objective of the meeting is to present a range of contemporary topics of interest to anaesthetists, anaesthesia trainees and anaesthesia nurses from a broad range of backgrounds.

This year’s meeting will focus on current thinking of controversial anaesthesia issues. We have a host of experts to educate and interact with you.

The meeting is held at Carousel which is one of Melbourne's most prestigious and iconic venues only 5 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.

Located on Albert Park Lake, it has  uninterrupted views of Melbourne's city skyline.Carousel has a ticketed car park outside the venue with plenty of car spots available.

Parking tickets can be purchased for $8 when registering on the day. This meeting is fully funded by registrant subscriptions; we have not accepted any industry sponsorship.

Registrants with dietary concerns should call Louvella D’Souza on 03) 9076 3176 during the week preceding the meeting.   Alternative meals can be arranged; there may be an additional charge for this.
