GP REGISTRARS

 

Exciting opportunity to gain high quality, well supported training in sexual health medicine - diagnosis and management of sexually transmitted infections - at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, Victoria’s major public sexual health service. This position would suit GP trainees interested in sexual health as a 6 month full time special skills post. Six month rotations available are: 30/1/2017 to 30/7/2017 (2 positions) and 31/7/2017 to 28/1/2018 (2 positions).

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:   

Essential:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and clinicians
  • Ability to discuss sensitive issues with clients from diverse backgrounds

  Desirable:

  • Demonstrated interest in sexual health
  • Current training in the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner training program or experience in general practice
